Help (all users)
This tool will let you navigate up/down within a web site, from the top, down through the heirarchy until you get to an end.
Path
The top line of this screen shows the sequence of heirarchy layers above you!
At the very least, it should show
Home/
You can click on one of these and shorten the path.
Siblings
Shows the choices that exist at the end of the current path.
The current sibling will be highlighted red text /white background.
At the very least, it should show
Help
You can click on one of these and change the selected sibling.
Children
Shows the choices that exist under the current sibling
and displays (where this help text currently is) the contents, if any, of the current
sibling.
This will be empty if there are no children i.e. you are at the end of a path!
When you select a
child then:
- Path is extended to include the current sibling.
- Siblings is recalculated to reflect the new Path.
- Children is recalculated to reflect the new Siblings.
Currently you have navigated to:
home/help/.
At that location there are 2 things:
- This text that you are reading, in a file named autopagebody.html
- A child page of home/help/ named Navigate Contents
Now click on the
Navigatigating link to the left of this text area.
